Equitable Web Solutions has been formed after discusions between several webmasters who are frustrated with the way some webmasters treat their fellow webmasters. Up to now webmasters have been able to cheat their link partners and with the exception of the occasional blacklist there is no record of the bad and as importantly the good sites.

The organisation has been set up with the mandate;

To promote equitable dealing on the world wide web

The company is a 'Not for Profit' organisation which means that any funds generated in the future would only be used to promote the above mandate and not for the benefit of individuals or other organisations.

We hope that as the database of ranked link partners grows other webmasters will use it to decide on their link partners and as a check on their existing link partners.

Should you be a webmaster with experience of linking then please consider becoming an editor and assisting the community in determining the value of individual link partners. There is a link at the very bottom of the page where you can apply to become an editor.

We do not rank sites with the idea of punishing sites that are being unfair to their link partners but would rather educate them so that they become good link partners to the benefit of the whole community.

Webmasters should only link to sites that they believe are of benefit to their community and our ranking should only be used alongside other criteria when making a decision to request a link exchange with another web site. Our ranking of a web site has nothing to do with the quality of the site but is purely based on how our editors consider they treat their link partners.

We try to treat all sites equally and do not show favour to any particular sites or webmasters. Our aim is that the editors run the organisation and decide on changes to the ranking criteria and any other editing decisions.
