Rankem has been formed to try and restore some fairness in link exchanges between webmasters. There used to be no encouragement for webmasters to cheat each other but since the search engines have taken links into account in their ranking algos cheating has now reached epedemic proportions.
We have decided to rank web sites according to how we view their effectiveness as link partners - you can see the ranking criteria and further details here.
